Al Ain: The weather has not been kind to people fasting during Ramadan. The temperature in some desert areas shot up to 50 degrees Celsius in the first few days of the month.
People are avoiding outdoor activities given the tough conditions.
In towns such Al Ain, Suwaihan and Umm Al Zumol, forecasters have reported temperatures of 50 degrees Celsius and above.
Even Abu Dhabi city saw the temperature rising to 47 degrees Celsius.
Conditions are also tough in Dubai, Sharjah, and coastal cities, including Fujairah. The maximum temperature shot up to 44 degrees Celsius in Dubai, 43C in Sharjah, and 47C in Al Ain.
The high humidity has only made the heat worse.
The seasonal monsoon influence has been affecting parts of the UAE and light to moderate rain has been reported in the last two days.

UAE - The Defence Ministry has advised all car owners in the UAE
not to fill the tank full cause for the next few weeks temperatures will shoot
upto 53-54 degrees and thus can cause the tank to burst. Please pass this
message on as all of us here are habitual of filling our car tanks full.
السلطات الإماراتيه
تنصح مواطنيها مالكي السيارات بأن
لإيقوموا بملىء خزان الوقود بشكل كامل وان يتركو فراغ على الأقل للأسابيع القليله
القادمه وذلك توقعا لارتفاع درجات الحراره مابين 53 و 54 درجة مئوية ولاحتمال
انفجار الخزان مما قد يترتب عليه إصابات وخسائر لا قدر الله

إرساله للجميع. لأن هذا الموضوع مهم جدا
