Public sector holiday declared on June 17

Abu Dhabi The official holiday to mark Al Israa Wal Miraaj, the ascension of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) will be on June 17. Humaid Mohammad Obaid Al Qutami, Minister of Education and Board Chairman of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources said in a circular:


 “Al Israa Wal Miraaj” holiday for staff in the federal ministries and bodies will be on Sunday, 27 Rajab 1433, corresponding to June 17. 


This is in accordance with Article No.100 of the Cabinet Resolution No. 13 of 2012 on the regulations of the law of human resources in the federal government.
