New Telephoto Lens from SigmaSigma has announced the launch of what is claimed to be the ultimate telephoto lens. The APO 200-500mm f2.8 and is the world’s first lens to offer an f/2.8 aperture at the 500mm focal length. It also comes with an “attachment” that gives users an option to use the lens at 400-1000mm at f/5.6.
Not for faint hearted, the lens weighs in at a mammoth 16kgs and uses its own separate Li-ion battery to provide power for focusing and zooming.
