Sorry but I heard that it was a financial problem involved...
To be clear it was not organized by Filipino's it was organized by other nationality...

well people, it's not just financial problems, but more of poor planning and greed. This is organized by a non Fil and pinoys. One week before the concert the management and other contracted marketing people are acting hasty against each other and sponsors pulled out one by one. This event is so humiliating and the two bands which are parokya and rivermaya wasn't paid properly. Even Kyla wasn't spotted in Dubai only her parents were announced. The lousy presscon was cancelled twice and on the day and time of the event the CEO of the organizing company was arrested by the CID and municipality shut down the event.

Plus, this event was supposed to be shown from January and they've postponed it six times until now.

Unfortunately, when it did finally happen... it was totally canceled.

The tickets that they sold were not stamped by the DTCM and the money from selling was taken away.

it seems that the whole scenario was a scam.it was a syndicated moved to rob each one of us.Fact #1 there was no office address written on the official web site of the company.Fact #2 the telephone number 00971 4 3367232 and the p.o box125231 is not theirs. Fact #3 the official website is not directly connected to them(see Website: Official MINT LEMON EVENTS LLC, DUBAI website)
on march 16 mr. minthu nath, the ceo sent me a text messages and said they will reimburse the tickets in two days time.March 18,there was no answer from mintlemon and from the ceo.i asked help from our friends in rafah police stn to contact and find the syndicate but until now i have no concrete ideas as to where are those lunatics.
shoul you have the same claims(refund)kindly lodge your complaint at dubai department of tourim and commerce industry e-complaints.just send an e-mail or better yet we ask assistance of the gulf news. This is to avoid another occurence of such a scam using our very own artists.

Sana man lang yung mga pinoy na involved dito, katulad ni Rachelle inform tayo kung may mapapala pa ba. Kasi kung wala na hindi na natin kailangang umasa. I'm trying to call her on her mobile no. still not reachable. sa tingin ko nagtago nayung mga agents na yan. I believe in KARMA! hindi sila tatantanan ng mga yan.

I bought 6 VVIP tickets. Is there any way we can report to some gov't organization here in UAE? Any number that anybody can give me to report this scam? I think we should all unite and do something about this...
